Kahala Residence Renovations

These home owners gravitated towards Japandi minimalist interior design which was achieved through a light palette consisting of light rift oak, muted porcelain and Dekton, and subtle nods to Japanese textures.

Located within the high end neighborhood of Kahala, this home’s interior architecture focuses on creating a sense of zen through visual simplicity. With a growing family, a neutral palette such as this allows the home owners to update as needed for everyone’s taste in the future while maintaining a baseline of overall peace and calm. With built-in elements doing much of the heavy lifting of Japandi minimalist interiors, we spent much of the design process observing and understanding the built enviornment of the home through the lenses of functionality while paying respect to the overall style.
